The fire at TPC’s Port Neches Operations is contained and significantly reduced. Unified Command is thankful for the continued support of emergency responders and community as this event is mitigated.
Federal, state, and local agencies have been conducting stationary and roaming air monitoring and will continue to do so through the course of the event. We are remaining diligent in our efforts to monitor air quality around the facility and downwind community. Air monitoring results, including any elevated readings, are being communicated to local authorities.
