More than 20 local, state and federal agencies are actively managing the ongoing event at TPC Group’s Port Neches Operations. The safety of emergency responders remains the primary focus as they continue to work safely and quickly to mitigate the incident.
Hyperlinks to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Texas Commission for Environmental Quality (TCEQ) incident sites have been posted to the www.portnechesresponse.com website. Agencies and third parties continue to conduct stationary and roaming air monitoring throughout Southeast Texas. Results will be publicly available on the agency incident websites as they become available.
Although no air monitoring results above actionable levels have been detected, the public is advised to comply with the mandatory evacuation ordered by Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick.
Affected area residents who have been impacted by the event can contact the TPC Community Assistance Helpline at 866-601-5880 to file a claim with our insurance provider.
